About
Nature photography has always been a strong passion of mine. As a hiker and a naturalist, I get outside as often as I can. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to stumble across some remarkable sights in the woods, which words alone are not apt to describe. I enjoy being able to share these experiences with others via photography, an art form that provides the most accurate representation of the wonders of the natural world. It’s my hope that the images showcased here will bestow a greater appreciation of the outdoors and, perhaps, stir up a bit of adventure.
My work has been featured in numerous publications, such as the Conservationist, American Forests, Northern Woodlands, A.T. Journeys, and TrailGroove, among others. I have also had three books published: Hudson Valley Reflections: Illustrated Travel & Field Guide (2017), Hudson Valley History & Mystery (2020), and Hudson Valley History & Mystery, Volume 2 (2023).
